Wilbur Carson Sensing, 1901-1984, was born in Dickson County, Tenn. He attended Montgomery Bell Academy and graduated with a B.S. degree in civil engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1923. He was chairman of the board of Enco Materials, a distributor of reinforcing steel and construction materials.
